For the sixth in a row, West Virginia Futbol Club (WVFC) is hosting our spring tournament, WVFC Capital Cup, sponsored by WesBanco.

We would love for you to join us at the state-of-the-art Shawnee Soccer Complex in Dunbar, WV on April 4-6th. Games will be played primarily on turf, minimizing any chance of cancellations. Last year we had a tornado touch down and damage the complex. Even that wasn't enough to cause a cancellation!

We welcome competitive boys and girls travel teams aged u8-u19 from West Virginia and the surrounding region. Last year featured 208 teams with 40 divisions from West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland and Canada. Charleston is geographically located to attract some of the biggest soccer markets, which is our goal!

With each year, we work to make this tournament our best one yet and one of the most sought-after events in the region. U16-u19 ages will be showcase style and we expect to have coaches within our state and region in attendance. West Virginia currently has nationally ranked D1, D2, and NAIA college programs on both the men's and women's side. We would love to show teams in the region what makes WV a soccer state.

WVFC and the Shawnee Soccer Complex have most recently been the host club and site for the 2024 Eastern Presidents Cup and 2024 US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships, where our 06/07 girls were Regional Champions. With dozens of years of experience hosting major tournaments, WVFC hopes you will join us for this exciting, professionally hosted, event.
